Our RCA VICTROLA:

We had an early Victrola, one of the tall wooden ones where the case was built around the speaker enabling a much longer “horn”. No electricity. Wind up. 78RPM I don’t know where it came from - neither of our parents used it.

Inside were Caruso recordings, old jazz recordings. As a result of one of our earlier moves, we sent it to Christopher, who still has it, I believe.

Charles and i used to play it just for the fun of it.
